How to measure ecommerce and online sales growth in China

China’s ecommerce market is expected to hit $8 trillion by 2019, according to the world’s second-largest ecommerce company.

The ecommerce giant Alibaba, the worlds largest ecommerce seller, says that it is expecting to double the ecommerce revenue it generated last year, to $5.6 trillion.

It’s estimated that ecommerce accounts for around 60% of China’s GDP.

Alibaba has said that it has signed deals with more than 300 billion users to deliver ecommerce services.
